Nokia decides to expand Asha family and therefore will be soon launching Asha 501 which is the 16th handset in the Asha series. Asha 501 focuses on 2G connectivity and is the first device to run on the new Asha platform, which is manufactured to make the experience faster and more responsive and also to change the attitudes of competitor products towards Asha family
The new interface in Asha 501 is also introduced which focuses on swipe events and a new feature called Fastlane. In Asha 501 a SIM can be changed without switching off by simply Swiping down from the top, tippity-tap, and you’re on to SIM number 2.The Nokia Asha 501 is made of only two parts to make it more durable and cheaper to manufacture. The back is removable to access the microSIM, the pre-installed 4GB microSD card (up to 32GB supported) and the battery.
