Casio G’zOne Commando rugged smartphone from Verizon

Verizon Wireless has official announced a Casio rugged Android-powered device, called the Casio G’zOne Commando. This gadget will launch in just two days & you can buy it for price of $199.99 with a new 2-year contract.

The Casio G’zOne Commando rugged smartphone runs Android 2.2 Froyo OS and compliance with military standards 810G that proof for rain, immersion, shock and dust resistance, vibration, fog, salt, humidity, altitude, solar radiation, low and high temperatures.
Casio G’Zone Commando from Verizon has brings a 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash and video capture, 3G, 3G mobile hotspot capability (up to five WiFi-enabled devices), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, stereo Bluetooth, and GPS with VZ Navigator preinstalled. For security, Verizon G’zOne Commando smartphone has high-security encryption for corporate email.
Verizon states the Casio G’zOne Commando is primarily aimed at certain business environments, in fields likes transportation, construction, manufacturing, utilities and healthcare. It is also suitable for an outdoor enthusiast.
