HTC Omega Windows Phone 7 Coming Soon

A new HTC handset has been leaked online, this time the Omega, powered by the Windows Phone 7 operating system.

Technical specs for the as-yet-unseen kit have been revealed on gadget blog Gadgetian, giving us a taste of what to expect from HTC’s next effort running Microsoft’s reborn OS.
Housing a 3.8-inch Super LCD touchscreen, the HTC Omega is a similar size to the HTC 7 Trophy but improves on that handset nearly every other facet, thanks to features that take in a 1.5GHz single-core Qualcomm processor, an eight-megapixel snapper with LED flash and 720p HD recording and 16GB of internal storage.
Better yet, it will run on the upcoming Mango iteration of Windows Phone 7, which is said will bring some 500 new features to the platform.
Other HTC Omega Windows Phone 7 features include Wi-Fi (b/g/n), Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, FM radio, a 3.5mm headset jack and an array of sensors.
Pricing and release details, let alone which networks will carry the handset at launch are still unknown. But rest assured we’ll bring you more gen as soon as we have it.
